We here at Cantech are part of the Mansfield Pollard group and were tasked with providing a specialised bespoke extract type canopy product within a Laboratory process at Johnson Matthey, Royston.

​

Our normal area of expertise is in stainless steel products but these canopies were specified in 6mm polypropylene in a RAL colour of RAL7037.

To add to the problem these canopies @ 2130x810x500mm were both intricate in the design with a total of nine circular spigots and a lower removable baffle plate to enhance the airflow, the canopies were required to be on site and installed within a matter of weeks from us receiving our enquiry, we quickly turned our attention to Quality Plastics Ltd who are a company local to ourselves.
 
Peter at Quality Plastics approached our dilemma with a creative calmness, sourcing the correct material in the RAL colour we required and along with his quotation there was technical detail of the product proposed to allow us to produce a CAD drawing to submit to our client.

 

Once approved by our client it was a simple task of placing the order with Quality Plastics Ltd and the canopies were manufactured within their time scale and delivered for us to install on site .
 
All in all it was an effortless process in dealing with Peter from start to finish and I would recommend Quality Plastics Ltd for their professionalism in approach and workmanship .
